QDRO. “QDRO” means a domestic relations order which qualifies under Code Section 414(p) and ERISA Section 206(d) and which creates or recognizes an alternate payee’s right to, or assigns to an alternate payee, all or a portion of the benefits payable to a participant under any of the Retirement Plans.

Notwithstanding (a) above, benefits shall be paid in accordance with the applicable requirements of any domestic relations order which is a qualified domestic relations order (as defined in section 206(d) of ERISA or section 414(p) of the Code); and provided further that benefits shall be paid pursuant to any domestic relations order was entered before January 1, 1985 if either the Plan is paying benefits pursuant to such order on such date or the Administrator elects to treat such order as a qualified domestic relations order.
