Common use of PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY Clause in Contracts

PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY. If for any reason the CITY decides to remove and sell the sculpture, the CITY shall provide the SCULPTOR with the first opportunity to purchase the piece at reasonable market value, not to exceed its offering price to the market at large, prior to offering the sculpture to the market at large.
