Common use of Purchase of Property by Tenant Clause in Contracts

Purchase of Property by Tenant. If a tenant under a lease for which a commission is payable hereunder directly or indirectly purchases the Property, whether strictly in accordance with the terms of any option, right of first refusal, similar right or otherwise, during the term of the lease (term to include the period of any extensions or renewals thereof based upon extension or renewal rights contained in the original provisions of such lease), then a sales commission shall be calculated and paid in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 7.a.(i).
