Common use of Public Statement Clause in Contracts

Public Statement. The parties hereto shall consult with each other and no party shall issue any public announcement or statement with respect to the transactions contemplated hereby without the consent of the other parties, unless the party desiring to make such announcement or statement, after seeking such consent from the other parties, obtains advice from legal counsel that a public announcement or statement is required by applicable law.
