Common use of Public Disclosure Requests Clause in Contracts

Public Disclosure Requests. The District agrees to notify the Union and the affected employee(s) when it receives a request for records or information containing personal information of, or pertaining to, bargaining unit members unless there is an available exemption that would protect the personal information of the employee(s) from disclosure. Such notice shall be provided prior to the anticipated release date of the public records, to allow time for the Union and/or employee(s) to exercise their rights under the Public Records Act of the State of Washington.
