Malpractice and Professional Liability Insurance 23.01 The Employer agrees to pay the full premium cost to provide group malpractice and professional liability insurance. The purpose of this insurance is to cover employees in the event of legal action brought against the employee arising out of the performance of his/her duties for the Employer while in the employment of the Employer. In the event of insurance costs rising, it is agreed that the table of defined benefits will be reduced so as to maintain the $7 premium figure.
