PROTECTION FROM FALLING OBJECTS. The Contractor shall equip all equipment utilized in clearing, grubbing, demolition, wrecking or other work where danger exists from falling debris, with a protective canopy of approved design.
PROTECTION FROM FALLING OBJECTS. When guardrail systems are used to prevent materials from falling from one level to another, any openings must be small enough to prevent passage of potential falling objects. No materials or equipment except masonry and mortar shall be stored within 4 feet (1.2 meters) of working edges. Excess mortar, broken or scattered masonry units, and all other materials and debris shall be kept clear of the working area by removal at regular intervals.
