Common use of Property Control Clause in Contracts

Property Control. Effective control and accountability must be maintained for all property. The subrecipient must adequately safeguard all such property and must assure that it is used solely for authorized purposes as described in the guidance and application. The subrecipient shall exercise caution in the use, maintenance, protection and preservation of such property. Terms used in this sub-part have the following meaning (see also Reclamation Supplement to Federal Property Management Regulations, Part 60 Property Accountability, Sub-part 114S-60.4 Classification of Property).
