These modified procedures are set forth in Appendices B, C, and D, respectively. 13.3 Recommendations for promotion and tenure are made without regard to the number of tenured faculty or number of faculty by rank in the department, College, or University. 13.4 The areas of activity reviewed for promotion/tenure are teaching, scholarship (including comparable creative and/or professional activity) and service, together with University programmatic considerations.
