Common use of Prolonged Absence Clause in Contracts

Prolonged Absence. When your child is gone for an extended period of time (two weeks or more), Center may disenroll your child. You may reserve a space for your child by paying the current weekly rate for three weeks in advance of the absence. This fee is non-refundable. Your child would need to return at the end of the three week absence or the Center may disenroll the child. In the event that your child disenrolls from the Center, your child will be prohibited from re-enrolling for a minimum period of three (3) weeks. With a prolonged absence the anniversary of enrollment starts over as will the vacation credit accrual.
