Project Development Budget. Openly Connected’s standard development practice is to develop proposal of work for a project with an estimate based on the hours & rates by skill of the developers and any additional costs. As the project progresses hours worked are subtracted from the budget. The client is in regular contact with the project manager and kept abreast of the progress and health of the project based on the proposal. A client is only charged for work performed, if any work is projected to exceed the budgetary amount the client and the project manager discuss options to keep the project on track and if there are extra hours due to a lower than expected burn rate, the client is either able to add “nice to have features” or a refund. In our experience this method of project pricing is the most cost effective and creates a atmosphere of cooperation rather than competition between the project team and the client. The client only pays for work done and the developers are paid for all of their work. This project is scheduled to begin on: Run for approximately 3 Weeks Have approximately 3 People involved.
