Common use of Prohibition Against Recording Clause in Contracts

Prohibition Against Recording. Landlord and Tenant agree not to record this Lease. In the event this Lease, a copy or any notice thereof shall be recorded by Tenant, then such recording shall constitute an Event of Default by Tenant entitling Landlord to immediately terminate this Lease. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence to the contrary, Landlord and Tenant agree to execute a Notice of Lease in the form attached as Exhibit 19.24. All costs of preparation and recording such notice shall be borne by the party requesting the execution of such Notice of Lease. At the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease, Tenant shall provide Landlord with an executed termination of the Notice of Lease in recordable form, which obligation shall survive such expiration or earlier termination.
