Prohibited Checks Clause Samples

The Prohibited Checks clause defines restrictions on the types of checks that may not be used for payment under an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies that certain forms of checks, such as post-dated, third-party, or counter checks, are not acceptable for fulfilling payment obligations. By clearly outlining which checks are not permitted, the clause helps prevent payment delays, reduces the risk of fraud, and ensures that only secure and verifiable payment methods are used.
