The "Program Tracks" clause defines the different categories or pathways within a program that participants may follow. It typically outlines the specific requirements, objectives, or activities associated with each track, such as beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels, or specialized areas of focus. By clearly delineating these tracks, the clause helps participants understand their options and ensures that each individual follows a path suited to their needs or qualifications, thereby promoting clarity and effective program management.
Program Tracks. Program tracks are identifiers within the R3 system that differentiate between program options within the same program and specialty. These include:
1. Clinical and research options;
2. Campuses and geographic areas; and/or
3. Program focus (e.g., rural; international) When using tracks, programs must:
1. Create a separate rank order list for each track; and
2. Place in each track the predetermined track quota; not to exceed the total quota for the program. Programs may set up a reversion in the R3 system to guard against the position(s) being unfilled.
