Common use of Professional Commitment Clause in Contracts

Professional Commitment. The Architect will at all times demonstrate in the performance of architectural services for the Project under this Agreement a professional commitment to the Owner. For purposes of this Agreement a “professional commitment” means a position of advocacy and trust on the part of the Architect for the benefit of the Owner to deliver the Project designed with materials and systems of appropriate functionality and durability to meet the educational program of the District as established by the Owner, constructed of the highest quality materials and by qualified labor according to the plans and specifications for the project prepared by the Architect, within the budget parameters designated for the Project, and within the schedule established for the Project by the Owner.
