Processing Technology. The Participating ULBs desires that its MSW management system shall be a ‘model system’ for the Country, which would scientifically collect, transport, process and dispose of MSW, have maximum recycling and recovery, and create public awareness. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Concessionaire shall develop the Project Facilities using technology or technologies that it had proposed in its Bid to the RFP, adhering to SWM Rules, 2016, ensuring compliance with the judgement of the Honorary National Green Tribunal (NGT) pronounced on 22.12.2016, and any amendments/ revision thereto till date and in accordance with terms of this Agreement and Applicable Law (the “Proposed Technology”) which ensures: (a) the bio-degradable and recyclable content of the MSW are separated through a suitable Material Recovery Facility (the "MRF"); (b) a suitable technology is used for Processing of the bio-degradable content of the MSW; (c) a suitable technology is used for Processing of combustible content of the MSW; (d) a suitable technology is used for recovering and processing recyclable content of the MSW (e) not more than 25% of the MSW received at the Processing Facility is disposed off in the Scientific Landfill
