Procedure Qualifications. The offeror shall submit current ABS/IACS member approved weld procedures for 5083 aluminum GMAW, 6061 aluminum GMAW, 5083 aluminum GMAW-Pulse low heat, Ultrasonic Impact Technology (UIT) certifications and ASTM G-67 Mass Loss Testing certifications. Weld Procedures for joining 5083 to 6061 aluminum shall be submitted. Individual Weld Procedures for the required grades of aluminum shall be submitted for 6mm and under. These procedures shall comply with the welding scope of work.
