Prize Clause Samples

Prize. One (1) prize is available to be won consisting of one (1) gift certificate valued at $100 CDN for The Old Station Restaurant in Bracebridge. The winner must come to ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ON to collect the prize won. If the winner does not claim the prize within five (5) days of notification, another the eligible entry will be selected and contacted and the first selected entrant will have no further claim to the prize. Sponsor will not mail or courier the prize and is not responsible for unclaimed prizes. The prize cannot be transferred or substituted and the event will not be rescheduled if a selected entrant cannot attend. Sponsor shall not be responsible for lost, damaged, stolen or unclaimed prizes. Each winner is responsible for transportation to and from the event and all other expenses not listed. No responsibility is assumed by the Sponsor for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events. Transportation arrangements must be made by the winner at the winner's expense. If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept or otherwise redeem a prize on the terms it is awarded, the prize shall be forfeited and no cash or substitutes will be provided in whole or in part. In order to be eligible to win a prize, each selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid.

Prize a. One (1) Entrant (“Prize Winner”) will be selected via a random drawing to win either: one (1)Unisex OPTAVIA Tri-Blend Tee retail value of $28, or (1)Ladies Positive Change Cuffed Tee retail value of $34 (the “Prize”). The Prize Winner will be able to select either prize and size preference. b. The Prize Winner agrees to indemnify, release, and hold harmless the Sponsor, OPTAVIA, LLC, and its respective parents, affiliates and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any liability, damages, losses or injury (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages) arising in tort (including negligence, whether active, passive or imputed) caused in whole or in part as a result of the Giveaway, including, but not limited to, the Entrant’s acceptance of any Prize in association with this Giveaway. c. The Prize must be taken as offered and may not be assigned or transferred. The Prize is valued in U.S. dollars. The Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value. d. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of the Prize in these official rules and which may be associated with the Prize acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded Prize are solely the responsibility of the Prize Winner. e. ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRIZE WINNER AND WILL BE BASED ON THE ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE OF THE PRIZE. f. Except for the Prize value, the Prize Winner will not receive any additional compensation or acknowledgement for entry in the Giveaway. g. If Prize Winner is unable to use the Prize, for any reason, the Winner forfeits the Prize and no substitute Prize will be given. The Sponsor, at its sole discretion, will determine if the Prize may be awarded to another Winner selected at random.

Prize. The prize for the Promotion is one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Genesis bow with an approximate retail value of $200, though the Department of Natural Resources reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar item, not necessarily of equal value. The prize will be purchased by the Iowa Bowhunters Association and donated to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for use in the Promotion. The odds of winning the prize cannot be predetermined and will depend on the number of valid entries received.

Prize. A Two Hundred Fifty Dollar ($250.00) prize (the “Prize”) will be awarded monthly during the Raffle Period in accordance with the results of the aforementioned random drawing. The winner of the “Prize” will be referred to in these Official Rules as the “Prize Winner”. The total retail value of each monthly cycle prize is Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) and the total of all Prizes is Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00).
