Common use of Priority of Payments Clause in Contracts

Priority of Payments. Each payment made on the Bond shall be applied, first, to the payment of Late Charges (if any) payable under paragraphs 11 and 18 of the Bond, then to the payment of premiums (if any) payable under paragraphs 16 and 17 of the Bond, then to the payment of unpaid accrued interest, then on account of outstanding principal, and then to the payment of the fee payable under paragraph 9 of the Bond.
