PREMISES HANDOVER Sample Clauses
The Premises Handover clause defines the process and conditions under which possession of a property is formally transferred from one party to another, typically from a landlord to a tenant. This clause outlines the specific date or event that triggers the handover, details any required inspections, and may specify the condition in which the premises must be delivered, such as being clean and free of prior occupants' belongings. Its core practical function is to ensure a clear and documented transition of responsibility for the premises, thereby reducing disputes over the state of the property or the timing of possession.
