Preliminary Plan Approval. Upon preliminary approval of the Principal, the plan shall be forwarded to the Superintendent or designee for presentation to the Board. Job sharing applications may be granted at the sole discretion of the Board. The Board shall notify applicants in writing by March 1 of the disposition of their application. If the application is denied, a written explanation for the denial will be given to the applicants. The granting or denial of a leave does not set a precedent with respect to the granting or denial of future leaves and the denial of a job sharing application shall not be subject to challenge through the grievance procedure.
