Preferred Alternative Selection. Following the public meeting, the Consultants will compile a comprehensive document for submission to the Town, VT AOT and VT ANR identifying the preferred alternatives with a clear explanation for selection. Input and concurrence by the Town will be part of this submission.
Preferred Alternative Selection. Each of the preferred concepts will then be compared to one another and ranked as to compliance with the program requirements and goals of the SD. Ultimately a single preferred development alternative will be selected. The Design Team will document the work session process and the recommended development option in both report as well as drawings and diagrams.
Preferred Alternative Selection a. Consultant shall develop the details of the shortlisted project alternatives before performing a business case analysis, using the CIP’s TBL+ methodology, to compare and rank various project alternatives. Consultant shall also assist the City with performing a sensitivity analysis to confirm the validity of the alternatives analysis and preferred alternative resulting from the TBL+ methodology.
b. The Consultant shall develop a one-page fact sheet for each of the shortlisted alternatives with the following information.
i. Alternative description
ii. Preliminary site layout and/or conceptual process flow diagram iii. Advantages and disadvantages
