Predicate Conditions Clause Samples

A Predicate Conditions clause defines specific requirements or events that must be satisfied before certain obligations or actions under a contract become effective. In practice, this clause might require that a party obtain regulatory approval, secure financing, or fulfill other pre-agreed criteria before the contract proceeds. Its core function is to ensure that both parties are protected from being bound to perform until essential preconditions are met, thereby allocating risk and providing clarity about when contractual duties commence.
