Practice Requirements. If the participant does not follow the reasonable professional instruction and guidance provided by AVSNC employees and consequently, in the sole discretion of AVSNC, places AVSNC staff or the animals in the care of AVSNC at risk, or disrupts the education of other participants, AVSNC may terminate the participant’s participation in the training program.
Practice Requirements. Practice represents, warrants and covenants that it shall:
a) Ensure that each of its Users has completed the then current onboarding process before being provided access to the System (Additional details surrounding onboarding of new Users or then current requirements can be found under the Community Connect tab at: ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇;
b) Ensure User's compliance with the then current policies, procedures and requirements (collectively “Community Connect Rules”) posted under the Community Connect tab at: ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇;
c) Ensure that all of its Users comply with all of the terms and conditions hereof;
d) Ensure that each of its clinical Users possesses, in good standing, any medical licensure required for practice in the User’s specialty;
e) Ensure that its patients consent to the Practice’s use of a shared EHR system;
f) Provide an operating environment in accordance with then current Technical and Equipment Requirements stated in the Community Connect Rules;
g) Not permit any person or entity, other than the Users, to use or gain access to the System;
h) Provide security systems policies, and routine assessments, that meet or exceed health care industry standards and that strictly prohibit and protect against unauthorized usage of or access thereto, including, at a minimum:
(1) requiring password access controls for any computer or device having access to the System that incorporate complex passwords with expiration dates;
(2) providing access restrictions to all physical locations having a computer or device that has access to the System.
i) Not rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, transfer, copy or modify the System or any component thereof;
j) Not translate, decompile, create or attempt to create, by reverse engineering or otherwise, the source code of the Application or any third-party licensed software from the object code made available hereunder;
k) Not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, trademarks, or other proprietary rights notices affixed or contained in the System; and
l) Not use the System in any manner or in connection with any content, data hardware, software or other materials provided by or on behalf of Practice or any User that infringes upon or violates any patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, or other intellectual property right of any third party.
Practice Requirements. If the student does not follow the reasonable professional instruction and guidance provided by AVSNC employees and consequently, in the sole discretion of AVSNC, places AVSNC staff or the animals in the care of AVSNC at risk, or disrupts the education of other students, AVSNC may terminate the student’s participation in the veterinary student externship program.
