PPD Audits Clause Samples

The PPD Audits clause establishes the right for a party to review and examine records, processes, or operations related to PPD (potentially "Product, Process, or Data") to ensure compliance with contractual or regulatory requirements. In practice, this clause allows for scheduled or surprise inspections, access to relevant documentation, and the ability to verify that standards are being met. Its core function is to provide oversight and accountability, helping to identify and address issues early, thereby reducing risk and ensuring transparency between the parties.
PPD Audits. As part of PPD’s Quality Management System, Global Quality & Compliance conducts audits of PPD processes and systems. If the outcome of such audits identify significant findings that impact the Services and/or Sponsor Project, PPD agrees to inform Sponsor of such findings.
