Common use of Potential Conflict Clause in Contracts

Potential Conflict. The Company and its Affiliates are engaged in the provision of a wide range of financial services and other related businesses. As a result, the Company may have a material interest or an arrangement or a relationship of any type with another party which would involve a conflict with its duty owed to the Client. The Client acknowledges the existence of such potential conflict of interest and agrees that the Agreement will not preclude the Company from conducting its businesses as aforesaid. The Company shall take reasonable steps to ensure fair treatment for the Client in relation to any transactions involving potential conflict of interest.
