Post-installation Testing. At no additional cost to the Department, the Contractor will use DFT to measure the friction characteristics of the high friction surface treatment in accordance with ASTM E 1911 within five days after the placement (once the surface is deemed cured) of each continuous section and again 90 days after the initial test of each continuous section. The contractor may conduct the initial test of the surface as early as the same day and as late as the 5th day. The earliest the contractor may conduct the second round of testing on each continuous section shall be a minimum of 90 days after the installation. Using a DFT ensure a minimum of 0.90 is achieved within 5 days after placement of the high friction surface treatment and ensure a minimum of 0.80 is achieved 90 days after completion of the high friction surface treatment for each reading.
Post-installation Testing. Fusion splicing is required for all permanent splices on the project. The maximum allowable splice loss for any splice is 0.10 dB, as measured bi-directionally with an OTDR at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. The average splice loss for the segment shall not exceed 0.05
Post-installation Testing. Within 60 days after installation of the Dryer Stacks, Purina at its own cost will conduct post installation testing and modeling at the property line testing point(s) using the Testing Procedures. The estimated cost is $50,000, according to Purina. Purina will provide a summary of testing results to City.
