Pool Specific Rules. (a) The pool is open seasonally from 7am – 9pm. (b) There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool(s). Residents swim at their own risk. The pool facilities are provided for the health and personal enjoyment of all Residents. No one under the influence of drugs or intoxicated shall be permitted to use the pool. (c) Keep gates closed; do not prop open. Be sure the gate is locked behind you when entering or leaving the pool areas. (d) Use caution around pools at all times. (e) No diving. (f) No running, rough play, abusive or disruptive behavior. (g) No food or drink in the pool, including alcohol. (h) No street clothing may be worn in the pool. (i) All incontinent individuals must wear tight fitting rubber or plastic pants or a swim diaper while in the pool – no exceptions. (j) Persons with sore or inflamed eyes, colds, nasal or ear discharges, boils or other acute or obvious skin or bodily infections or cuts shall be excluded from the pool. (k) Noise must be kept at respectful levels, and content appropriate for a community setting and befitting of the surroundings and atmosphere of the Amenities. (l) Use only certified water safety flotation devices. (m) Observe all safety regulations. (n) Furniture is to be used only as designed – no stacking, standing on, building or playing with the furniture will be permitted. Furniture shall not be removed from its original location or placed in the pool. (o) All persons using the pool and/or pool area, shall be responsible for their own safety and shall be deemed to assume the risk of using the pool and/or pool area, and agree, by their presence in the pool area that neither the operator, its agents or employees shall be liable for any loss, injury or death arising out of the pool and/or pool areas. (p) Pool users shall obey all posted Pool Rules at all times, which are subject to change. (q) The Board of Directors reserve the right to change the Rules at any time.

Pool Specific Rules. The following pool specific Rules apply at the Vic:

(d) Proper swimming attire befitting a community pool setting is required. Incontinent swimmers must wear a swim diaper.
(e) Those wishing to swim must shower and remove oils and lotions before entering the pool(s).
(f) No running, pushing or horseplay is allowed in the pool areas. Spitting, spouting water, blowing noses or discharging bodily wastes into the pool(s) is strictly prohibited.
(g) No diving is allowed.
(h) No glass objects are allowed in or around the pool areas at any time, including goggles with glass lenses, bottles, etc.
(i) Noise, including music, must be kept at respectful levels to others.
(j) No bicycles, skateboards or hover boards are allowed in the pool areas at any time.
(k) Safety equipment is to be used only in the event of an emergency.
(l) Be sure the gate is locked behind you when entering or leaving the pool areas.
(d) Use caution around pools at all times.
(e) No diving.
(f) No running. If a pool gate is propped open, rough play, abusive or disruptive behavior.
(g) No food or drink in the pool, including alcohol.
(h) No street clothing access privileges may be worn in the pool.

(o) All persons using the pool and/or pool area, shall be responsible for their own safety and shall be deemed to assume the risk of using the pool and/or pool area, and agree, by their presence in the pool area that neither the operator, its agents or employees shall be liable for any loss, injury or death arising out of the pool and/or pool areas.
(p) Pool users shall must obey all posted Pool Rules at all times, which are subject to change. Management has the authority to and obligation to enforce pool rules and supervise the general conduct of pool users. Management may require persons who violate the pool rules or engage in inappropriate conduct in the pool area to leave the Amenities’ premises immediately and may have their Access Card privileges suspended for up to ten (10) days.
(p) Water guns, water balloons, etc. are prohibited.
(q) Illegal activities e.g., gambling, drugs, etc. are prohibited.
(r) Operation of the pool lift(s) is the primary responsibility of the user or his/her caregiver. However if an individual requires assistance for safe operation, if advance notice is provided, Management will arrange for such assistance.
(s) Individuals breaking the rules, vandalizing Amenity property, throwing furniture in the pool(s), entering without proper use of an assigned Access Card (e.g., climbing the fence or other improper behavior), or using inappropriate behavior as determined by Management or volunteers will be asked to leave, and could have their Amenity use privileges suspended as provided in the Community Governing Documents.
(t) Any Member who by his/her conduct and /or demeanor interferes with the use and enjoyment of the Amenities by other Members and/or the orderly maintenance, safety and operation of the Amenities may have their Amenity access suspended or revoked.
(u) Management may establish from time to time the rate of daily guest fees, charges, and the rules for use of the pools by guests. The Board pool specific rules at the Vic apply at The Center and Swim Park, in addition to the following rules:
(a) All Residents and their limited authorized guests using the facilities do so at their own risk and hold owners and VA and VCA harmless in event of Directors reserve an injury.
(b) Children under fourteen (14) years of age must be escorted by an adult at all times while on the right to change Amenities premises.
(c) All children under the Rules at any timeage of three (3) must wear a swim diaper and rubber pants before entering the pool – no exceptions.
