Common use of Playing Field Clause in Contracts

Playing Field. (i) The Club shall be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Playing Field, including any routine drainage maintenance. The Club shall maintain the Playing Field so that it meets all requirements for MLB PDL play set forthin the regulations of MLB. In addition to the foregoing, the Club shall be responsible for the care, upkeep, upgrade and replacement of any tarpaulins for the Playing Field. (ii) In the event that the City, in consultation with the Club, determines that the Playing Field needs to be replaced, the City will be responsible for such replacement. Any such replacement of the Playing Field ultimately will be in the sole discretion of the City and subject to the availability of funds for such purpose.
