Plan for Annexation Sample Clauses

Plan for Annexation. Within one year of execution of this interlocal agreement, the City shall provide to the Lewis County Community Development Director an annexation plan that includes a 5-, 10- and 20-year schedule for the annexation of all areas within the UGA boundary. The plan shall provide that the full extent of the UGA will be incorporated into the city limits within 20 years of the effective date of this agreement. The Lewis County Community Development Director shall provide the annexation plan and a County recommendation to the BOCC. The BOCC may take such action on the annexation plan as it deems appropriate. If no annexation plan is provided to the County within one year of execution of this agreement, the County shall suspend approval of city-proposed amendments to the UGA boundary, comprehensive plan designations, or amendments to zoning designations within the unincorporated UGA until such time as an annexation plan is accepted by the BOCC.
