Common use of Place and method Clause in Contracts

Place and method. Forest products sold under this contract shall be scaled, measured or counted on the truck or deck at such locations as are approved in writing by the County prior to their removal from the sale area. Such scaling, measuring and counting shall be performed by one of the following independent scaling bureaus unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the County and Purchaser: Mountain Western Log Scaling and Grading Bureau or Columbia River Log Scaling and Grading Bureau. Cost of scaling shall be paid by the Purchaser.
