Pilot Duties Clause Samples

Pilot Duties. Pilots shall exercise pilots’ duties and responsibilities in regard to the safety of each flight conducted pursuant to this Agreement in accordance with the applicable FAR. When safety may be compromised, in the view of the pilots of any Aircraft used pursuant to this Agreement, the pilots may terminate a flight, refuse to commence a flight or take other action necessitated by safety considerations. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to abridge the authority and responsibility of the pilot-in-command as provided under pertinent FAR Part 91 regulations.
Pilot Duties. A. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ may direct a pilot to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the pilot's skill, competency and training, such duties are not designed to promote deskilling, and are consistent with safety requirements. B. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ may direct a pilot to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required provided that the pilot has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment. C. These additional duties may include but will not necessarily be limited to: i) Following consultation with the pilot and by mutual agreement partaking, in rostered shifts in areas other than flying. ii) All duties undertaken would be in accordance with, and subject to, the flight and duty limitations as set out in CAO 48 or exemption to CAO 48 issued to MacAir Airlines by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). iii) If performing duties other than those of a pilot during a nominated shift, you will not be required to then perform the duties of a pilot during the same shift unless you consider yourself to be fit and able to safely carryout the proposed duties D. Pilot duties will include but will not be limited to: i) Operational duties associated with the preparation for and conduct of a flight, including normal fuelling, refueling and handling of passenger baggage and/or cargo subject to clause 2.8 – Classification and salary. ii) Completion of statutory and Company documentation associated with a flight. iii) Necessary maintenance of cabin tidiness consistent with passenger comfort. E. Pilot duties will be incidental or peripheral to pilotage.
Pilot Duties. 12.1 Pilot duties shall include but not be limited to: 12.1.1 Operational duties associated with the preparation for and conduct of a flight, including reasonable assistance with the normal handling of passenger baggage and/or cargo and if necessary refuelling. 12.1.2 Completion of statutory and Company documentation associated with a flight. 12.1.3 Necessary maintenance of cabin tidiness consistent with passenger comfort. 12.1.4 A pilot shall not be required to carry out the duties referred to in sub- clause 12.1.1 or 12.1.3 of this clause, if appropriate personnel or facilities are available. In addition, a pilot may be required to perform administrative duties that are considered within an individual pilots competence.
