Pier. Pursuant to the Commission’s delegation of authority and the State CEQA Guidelines (Title 14, California Code of Regulations, section 15061), the staff has determined that this activity is exempt from the requirements of CEQA as a categorically exempt project. The project is exempt under Class 1, Existing Facilities; Title 2, California Code of Regulations, section 2905 (a)(2). Authority: Public Resources Code section 21084 and Title 14, California Code of Regulations, section 15300 and Title 2, California Code of Regulations, section 2905.

Pier. City owns and operates that certain real property commonly known as the Santa Xxxxxx Xxxx and consisting of the entire pier platform and certain appurtenant structures, fixtures, improvements, utility lines and systems, public restrooms, public parking sites, stairways and common areas, and maintenance and equipment areas located thereon, including the leasehold space currently occupied by the Ocean Discovery CenterSanta Xxxxxx Xxxx Aquarium and the Xxxxx Xxxx Shrimp Company Restaurant, all as more particularly described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference (collectively referred to as the “Pier”).
Pier. The AS/SRF-B course RRL lists a Pier mockup as locally generated training support equipment. This area shall measure at least 10’ X 30’, and simulate a pier. The purpose of the associated exercise is to demonstrate the proper techniques for a pier sentry. This area may be marked with chalk lines, cones, or other materials to simulate pier dimensions.
