Physical Investigation. The investigation of some of the physical parameters of the soil took place in both phases of sampling. In the first phase, seven surface samples were analyzed for water content. In the second phase, twelve subsurface samples were analyzed for both water content and bulk density. Lithologic descriptions were also noted.
