Common use of Persons Deemed Owner Clause in Contracts

Persons Deemed Owner. Prior to due presentment for registration of transfer of any Note, any agent on behalf of the Trust including but not limited to the Indenture Trustee, or the Note Insurer, may treat the Person in whose name any Note is registered as the owner of such Note (a) on the applicable Record Date for the purpose of receiving payments of the principal of and interest on such Note and (b) on any other date for all other purposes whatsoever, and none of the Trust, the Indenture Trustee or any other agent of the Trust, or the Note Insurer shall be affected by notice to the contrary.
