Common use of Personal Appearances Clause in Contracts

Personal Appearances. The parties agree that “On-Air Personnel” may be assigned to make personal appearances on behalf of CJMX at promotional events without additional compensation under the Collective Agreement. Such appearances shall be for a maximum of three (3) hours and may only be assigned on an occasional and equitable basis among “On-Air Personnel” with sufficient notice provided by the Supervisor so as not to unreasonably conflict with the employee’s personal or family commitments. Reasonable expenses incurred during such assignments, such as, the use of the employee’s personal vehicle, will be reimbursed by the Company.
