The 'Personal advice' clause defines the circumstances under which advice provided by a party is considered tailored to the individual needs and situation of the recipient. Typically, this clause clarifies whether the advice given is specific to the client's personal objectives, financial situation, or requirements, as opposed to being general information or guidance. For example, in financial services agreements, it distinguishes between personalized investment recommendations and general market commentary. The core function of this clause is to set clear expectations about the nature of advice being provided, thereby helping to manage liability and ensure that clients understand the scope and limitations of the advice they receive.
Personal advice. 4.1 We do not, in our capacity as operator of the IDPS, make any express or implied recommendations concerning any asset available through the IDPS having regard to your personal objectives, financial situation or needs. Unless a law that cannot be excluded imposes greater liability, our total liability to you in connection with the IDPS is limited to the value of your investments through the IDPS at the time we are required to discharge that liability.

Our aim is to work with you to determine, develop and maintain a tailored personal investment strategy. We may not always provide personal advice, and in some cases, we may provide general advice that does not consider your personal circumstances or execute transactions according to your directions. Personal advice. As we started the implementation of the external tools like the one provided by Hungary, we were able to display the resulting report that contains some advice in the Personal Advice section. Currently this will provide advice based on a selected filled questionnaire.
Personal advice. 6.1 Personal advice is advice about securities, interests in managed investment schemes and derivatives which is given to you in circumstances where your Adviser has considered one or more of your objectives, financial situation and needs (“your personal circumstances”).
6.2 You agree that the information provided by you in the Statement of Advice constitutes your personal circumstances as at the date of this Agreement.
6.3 You acknowledge that:
(a) personal advice will only be given by your Adviser upon request by you;
(b) your Adviser can only make recommendations on the basis of information provided by you; and
(c) if you have not provided your Adviser with full details of your personal circumstances, the personal advice given by your Adviser may not be appropriate for your personal circumstances and you must assess the suitability of the advice for yourself.
6.4 You agree to inform your Adviser of any changes in your personal circumstances that may be relevant to any future personal advice. If you do not provide your Adviser with this information, the personal advice given will be based on the information previously provided.
