Common use of Permitted Communications Clause in Contracts

Permitted Communications. Executive acknowledges that nothing in this Agreement prohibits or restricts Executive from initiating communications directly with, responding to any inquiry from, or providing information to or testimony before, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, or any other governmental agency or self-regulatory organization, about actual or potential violations of laws or regulations. Executive further acknowledges that Executive is not required to obtain the Company’s prior authorization before engaging in such communications, nor is Executive required to inform the Company about such communications.
