PERMITS & LICENSING Clause Samples
The Permits/Licensing clause establishes the responsibility of one or both parties to obtain and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, or approvals required for the performance of the contract. In practice, this means that a contractor may be required to secure building permits before starting construction, or a vendor might need to ensure all regulatory licenses are in place for the sale of certain goods. This clause ensures legal compliance and helps prevent project delays or legal penalties by clearly assigning responsibility for regulatory approvals.
PERMITS & LICENSING. The Contracting Officer and/or DCO have a right to exclude from competition of an individual task order a Contractor whose requisite licenses or permits have been suspended or who may not have the requisite licenses or permits and/or who may not be capable of receiving waste at the time of the issuance of the request for task proposals.
