PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE Sample Clauses

The "Permits and Performance" clause requires parties to obtain and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals needed to lawfully perform their obligations under the agreement. In practice, this means that before commencing work or delivering services, each party must ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as building permits for construction projects or environmental approvals for certain operations. This clause helps prevent legal delays or penalties by ensuring that all activities are properly authorized, thereby allocating responsibility for regulatory compliance and reducing the risk of project interruptions.
PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE. Tenant, at its expense, shall obtain all necessary governmental permits and certificates for the commencement and prosecution of Tenant’s Changes and for final approval thereof upon completion and shall furnish copies thereof to Landlord. Tenant shall cause Tenant’s Changes to be performed in compliance therewith and with all applicable Laws and requirements of public authorities and with all applicable requirements of insurance bodies, and in good and workmanlike manner, using new materials and equipment at least equal in quality and class to the original installations in the Property. Tenant’s Changes shall be performed in such manner as not unreasonably to interfere with, delay, or impose any additional expense upon Landlord in the renovation, maintenance, or operation of the Property or any portion thereof, unless Tenant shall indemnify Landlord therefor to the latter’s reasonable satisfaction.
PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE. Upon approval of the Cost Statement, Landlord shall cause the Contractor to obtain the applicable permits for the Tenant Improvement Work. Landlord shall cause Contractor to provide competent supervision and coordination of all portions of the Tenant Improvement Work and to cause performance of the Tenant Improvement Work in a first class and workmanlike manner using only new materials, in compliance with all applicable governmental laws, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations, and in substantial compliance with the CD’s.
