Common use of Permits and Codes Clause in Contracts

Permits and Codes. Unless otherwise set out in the specifications or required by the agencies involved, the Contractor shall make application for, obtain and pay for all licenses and permits necessary for the prosecution of the Work and shall pay for all fees and charges in connection therewith. The Contractor shall be required to comply with all state or municipal ordinances, laws, and/or codes in so far as the same are binding on the Owner.
