Permanent Cleanouts. A permanent cleanout shall be installed at the terminal point of all dead-end lines except where a fire hydrant is installed (for Hawaii only, cleanouts are required regardless of fire hydrant installation). Size of cleanout shall be as shown in the Standard Details. (For Oahu only: Install valve boxes for permanent cleanouts.)
