Performance and Reliability Testing Sample Clauses

Performance and Reliability Testing. The goals of this task are to perform chassis dynamometer testing and multi-week, on- road reliability testing with loaded trailers of the FCEV and NG PHEV Class 8 drayage trucks. • Plan and conduct performance , emissions, and NG hydrogen and electricity consumption testing at the HD Chassis Dynamometer laboratory of the University of California at Riverside, College of Engineering Center for Environmental Research and Technology (UCR CE-CERT). • Test one EV and one NG PHEVFCEV Class 8 drayage trucks each with a loaded trailers in operation closely simulating the drive cycles typically taken by the end-user fleets for a period of 4 weeks. • Identify and characterize the maximum driving range of the FCEV design in real-world operation and validate the its performance of the NG PHEV design over existing road conditions found in Southern California. • Prepare Chassis Dynamometer Test Report for inclusion in the On-Road Test Report that includes but is not limited to emissions and any resultant anomalies noted during testing. • Chassis Dynamometer Test Report • On-Road Test Report The goals of this task are to procure access to local H2 refueling stations, ensure adequate available H2 storage capacity, install at least 4 EV chargers with accompanying charging infrastructure to support field demonstration, deploy at least 1 EV and 3 NG PHEVs4 FCEVs, and field demonstrate the at least 4 trucks for a 12 month period. • Procure access to local H2 refueling stations and ensure adequate available storage capacity throughout the project demonstration period. • Work with each end-user fleet to install the charging infrastructure. • Deliver 4 FCEVs to end-user fleets and prepare documentation including but not limited to photos of delivered vehicles.
Performance and Reliability Testing. In addition to the warranties set forth in this Agreement and to the acceptance testing described in the previous Section, new Hardware or System models, types, or releases not previously installed or successfully tested by EDS (but specifically excluding XFP 2000 model COM recorders) ("New Hardware") must complete a thirty (30) working day performance and reliability testing period. If New Hardware does not perform in accordance with its Applicable Specifications for at least ninety-five percent (95%) of EDS' normal working hours during such testing period following the actual installation date of the New Hardware, then EDS shall so inform Anacomp in writing. Within ten (10) days of receipt of such notice, Anacomp shall, at EDS' option (i) repair or replace the unacceptable New Hardware at no additional cost to EDS, or (ii) accept the return of the New Hardware and refund to EDS any amounts paid by EDS for such New Hardware, including delivery and return transportation costs and expenses. If EDS elects (i) above, the repaired or replacement New Hardware shall be subject to the performance and reliability tests set forth in this Section. For purposes of New Hardware, "Acceptance Date" shall mean the date upon which New Hardware satisfactorily completes the performance and reliability test described in this Section.
