Pending Acts Clause Samples
The "Pending Acts" clause defines how certain actions or obligations that are in progress or awaiting completion at the time of contract execution are to be handled. Typically, this clause clarifies whether such acts will be completed under the terms of the current agreement or if they are subject to previous arrangements. For example, if a party has initiated a service or delivery before the contract is signed, the clause will specify how that ongoing activity is treated. Its core function is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes regarding responsibilities for actions that straddle the contract's effective date.
