PENALTIES / TERMINATIONS. (a) Termination of the contract due to labour unrest/ dispute: Where the service is interrupted because of labour unrest by security personnel, the state reserves the right to terminate the contract without the option of rectifying the situation by the contractor. (b) Non-compliance: Save for the rights which have been reserved and the material breach to the terms and conditions of this contract, any non-compliance thereto shall result in the state to advise the contractor in writing to rectify the breach within a period of 5 working days. The failure by the contractor to rectify the situation shall result with the state terminating the contract without any further notice being given to the contractor. All material breach shall result in outright termination of the contract written notice to the contractor.
