Payments Books and Records Clause Samples
The "Payments; Books and Records" clause establishes the obligations regarding the timing, method, and documentation of payments between parties, as well as the maintenance and accessibility of financial records related to the agreement. Typically, it requires one party to make payments according to specified terms and mandates that both parties keep accurate and complete books and records of all transactions covered by the contract. This clause often grants the right to audit or inspect these records to verify compliance. Its core function is to ensure transparency and accountability in financial dealings, reducing the risk of disputes over payments and enabling effective oversight.
