Common use of Payment Rate Clause in Contracts

Payment Rate. (a) if all of the duties of the higher level are performed, an amount to raise salary to the rate that would have been received had the employee been promoted to the level; (b) if only part of the duties of the higher level are performed, an amount commensurate with the proportion of higher duties performed.
