Common use of Payment of Preferred Claims Clause in Contracts

Payment of Preferred Claims. The Canadian Borrower shall, and shall cause its Subsidiaries to, from time to time pay when due or cause to be paid when due all amounts related to wages, workers' compensation obligations, government royalties or pension fund obligations and any other amount which may result in a lien, charge, Security Interest or similar encumbrance against the assets of the Canadian Borrower or such Subsidiary arising under statute or regulation, except when and so long as the validity of any such amounts or other obligations is being contested by the Canadian Borrower or its Subsidiaries by a Permitted Contest.
