Common use of Payment for Notice Clause in Contracts

Payment for Notice. The Employer will only pay for the remainder of the notice not worked if the Employee is available to work and has not been terminated for serious misconduct or has agreed to work out a shorter notice period. The Employer is only required to pay a maximum of two (2) weeks notice in the event the Employee resigns their employment regardless of the length of notice supplied by the Employee.
