Common use of Payment and Payment Value Date Clause in Contracts

Payment and Payment Value Date. (I) Payment in the currency agreed hereunder is essential (in specie). Payment is valid only if made in such currency and in accordance with Seller’s payment instructions. (II) If payment due date falls on a Saturday or on a holiday other than a Monday, payment shall be made on the last preceding banking day. If payment due date falls on a Sunday or a holiday on a Monday, payment shall be made on the next banking day. (III) ▇▇▇▇▇ agrees with ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s right to set off any amounts owed by Seller or its affiliates to Buyer with any amounts owed by Buyer hereunder.
